Boost morale and put a smile on the face of IDF soldiers

Our mission, as part of the IDF’s Volunteer Unit and at the direction of the IDF’s Food Division, is to provide IDF front line and elite units with fresh, nutritious meals as a special “treat” to thank the troops for their service.  Our teams travel from base to base with one of our mobile kitchens, where they prepare and serve falafel, burgers, schnitzels and salads to the troops.

But more than that – you meet and mingle with the soldiers one on one, hear their stories, get to know them, and build bonds of friendship with these brave young men and women

Volunteer in the IDF

Spend 6 days supporting IDF front line and elite units

• Working from an EVP mobile kitchen, cook fresh meals daily at IDF bases across Israel
• Meet over 1900 soldiers during the volunteering week
• Stay on an IDF base in Jerusalem
• Wear an IDF uniform on duty 
• Receive an accredited volunteer certificate
• Certify as a mass feeding responders in Israel
• Cook fresh meals for the civilian population of Israel after a national emergency

EVP Logistics Center

Our Volunteers HQ located in an IDF base

Stay with the team at the EVP Logistics Center on an IDF base near Jerusalem. This will be your base for all feeding missions. The center includes:

• 9 rooms for up to 36 volunteers & staff
• Each room has 2 bunkbeds for 4 people, an ensuite bathroom & shower, a smart TV (with Netflix) & free Wi-Fi
• Each room is equipped with toiletries, bedlinen, blankets & pillows
• Clubhouse with free snacks, soft drinks, coffee, wi-fi, large screen TV with Netflix.
• A dedicated BBQ area for you to enjoy in your free time.

EVP can arrange for you to stay at a 5-star hotel the weekend before and the weekend after your volunteering period - See pricing plans below.
